Re: Operating Budget
The State of Hawaii has awarded two grants for tree planting projects as
follows:
1) A $3,000 grant for the planting of 16 California Pepper Trees and 18
Norfolk Island Pines to be planted at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery.
2) A $2,700 grant for the planting of 10 Weeping Bottlebrush Trees at the Hilo
Municipal Golf Course.
Enclosed are bills for ordinances appropriating those funds, one for the
General Fund and the other for the Golf Course Fund.
