Chairman Higa and Council members.
I oppose Res. 383-06 at this time and ask you do the same. Since the Kona
Community Development Plan is so near to completion, it only makes sense to
at least wait until the community has had a say. This is a huge project that will
have a major impact on our community.
We have been waiting patiently to hear about concurrency for a long time, but
nothing has been presented to date. Passing this now, without the concurrency
issues having yet been addressed, but with the CDP so close, is insulting to the
large number of people who have given so much to the plan.
Please. Hold off on this. Thank you.
