A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, a $50,000 appropriation will be used to supplement funding for a study on
the feasibility of constructing a wastewater treatment facility serving Kapoho Vacationland
Estates and Farm Lots, Kapoho Beach Lots and public restrooms at the Wai O Pae Marine Life
Conservation District within Kapoho Vacationland Estates. This appropriation will be
administered by the Department of Environmental Management; and
WHEREAS, the funding will be used to benefit the public by increasing health and safety
conditions, including the prevention of residential wastewater from polluting tide pools at Wai O
Pae Marine Life Conservation District and Kapoho Bay.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth
below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Environmental Management and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
