SUBJECT: Resolution Authorizing the Exemption of Certain Zoning
Code Requirements for the Waikoloa Employee Housing
Project Pursuant to Chapter 46-15 of the Hawaii
Revised Statutes
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted
a Resolution Authorizing the Exemption of Certain Zoning Code
Requirements for the Waikoloa Employee Housing Project Pursuant
to Chapter 46-15 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes.
The Hawaii County Housing Agency reviewed and approved the
resolution at its meeting on August 22, 2006, and voted as
follows:
AYES: J. Arakaki, F. Holschuh, V. Isbell, B. Jacobson,
A. Pilago, P. Hoffmann - 6
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: S. Higa, D. Ikeda, G. Safarik - 3
Accordingly, I am requesting that this resolution be included on
the Council agenda for action at its September 7, 2006, meeting.
