SUBJECT: A Resolution Urging the United States Congress to Support Tightened Agricultural
Inspections for Incoming Cargo and Passengers to Hawaii
The attached resolution demonstrates the desire of the Hawaii County Council to support efforts
that address the prevention of the continued introduction of alien species to Hawaii.
Ending the continued introduction of alien species to Hawaii is crucial for the overall health of
our economy, environment and native and endemic species of flora and fauna.
