Angel Pilago Council Member, District 8 RE: Bill 309, Draft 4 (An Ordinance Amending the Hawai'i County General Plan, as Adopted by Ordinance No. 05 25.) Attached for your consideration is Bill 309, Draft 4 that sets forth amendments approved by the Hawai'i County Council at its August 23, 2006 regularly scheduled meeting. Bill 309, Draft 4 reflects the following amendments: TRANSPORTATION - Roadways 5. Page 13-9, SOUTH HILO, 13.2.5.2.2 Courses of Action. Subparagraph B, initially deleted courses of action (i) and 0) and re-alphabetize subsequent courses of action. Draft 4 retains course of action (i) and re-alphabetized subsequent courses of action to read as follows: B. Delete courses of action 0) and re-alphabetize subsequent courses of action as follows: (i) Plan for the eventual closure of the Bayfront Highway and the relocation of the existing Highway 19-Pauahi Street intersection to an area in the vicinity of Ponahawai Street, in coordination with the State.
