I, Michael Kramer, a resident of Kailua-Kona at 75-6081 Alii Drive, hereby submit this testimony is support of any
County consideration of purchase of Puapua'a. This is a sacred site with many historically significant resources. It
deserves to be held in the public trust for purposes of cherishing these resources. The site also provides another
important public coastal access point between Honls Beach and Pahoehoe Park. I urge that this property be
considered for purchase by the County of Hawaii. In addition to preserving the cultural sites, it could provide for a
desperately needed park for the residents of mid-Alii Drive.
