Aloha Committee Chair and members: I'm writing to support concurrency legislation. Though I feel this legislation could be fine-tuned to provide more protection from over- and too rapid-development on the island, I feel that it is, at least, a good start. And long overdue. Mahalo to Councilman Pete Hoffman for coming to West Hawaii's rescue by introducing something sooner than later to help deal with excessive and premature development approvals.
