Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation of twelve (12) post pads and fifteen (15)
bleacher pads for the Department of Parks and Recreation's Andrews Gym. This
donation is being made by the Andrews Athletic Association, 546 Mohouli Street, Hilo,
Hawaii 96720 and has an estimated total value of $3,417.35.

A. REQUEST:
To accept and acknowledge a donation of post pads and bleacher pads for Andrews Gym.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Council action is being requested to accept and acknowledge a donation of twelve post pads and fifteen
bleacher pads for Andrews Gym by the Andrews Athletic Association. The post pads will be used to cover
the gym support posts and the bleacher pads will be used to cover the top of the first bleacher level. This
will ensure the safety of the children being that the bleachers and posts are very close to the baselines.
Estimated value: $3,417.35
