No. 582, Resolution No. 185-97) will be considered by the County <br /> Council at its meeting of December 17, 1997 and I request an accommodation. <br /> The funding issue is of utmost important to our members therefore 1 request this item be <br /> placed on top of your meeting agenda. Union members have expressed their desire to attend your <br /> meeting. By placing this matter first on your agenda, our members may make arrangements to <br /> schedule a leave of absence from their worksite, attend your meeting, and return to work upon <br /> completion of business on the funding issue. I know that you nor I can predict the length of time <br /> that will be devoted to this matter, however first consideration will certainly assist their leave <br /> planning and hopefully speedy return to work. <br /> Your favorable consideration is appreciated.
