Resolution No. 437-06, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 327 by Council Member Gary Safarik,
via Communication No. 1032, dated August 22, 2006, transfers funds as follows:

(Kapoho WWTP Facility Feasibility Study

These discretionary funds from Council District 5 will be used to supplement funding for a study
on the feasibility of constructing a wastewater treatment facility serving Kapoho Vacationland
Estates and Farm Lots, Kapoho Beach Lots and public restrooms at the Wai O Pae Mazine Life
Conversation District within Kapoho Vacationland Estates. This appropriation will be
administered by the Department of Environmental Management.
Your Committee heard testimony in favor of this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 437-06
and recommends its adoption.
