Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 331, reports as follows:
Bill No. 331, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 1040,
dated August 22, 2006, amends Ordinance No. 06-79, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending
June 30, 2007. The amendment is as follows:
From:
3609.09 Fund Balance Reserved for Liquor Control General $20,000
To:
010-251-5251.39 Public Programs General $20,000
These funds will be used to conduct programs for the public, which promotes compliance to
liquor laws. These will include educational programs, youth programs, enforcement training,
and promoting responsible drinking and driving.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 331 and
recommends it pass first reading.
