SUBJECT: Resolution for the Hawaii Count Council
Renovations to Ali'i Kai Apartment Complex
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) has
submitted to the :Hawai'i County Housing Agency (HCHA) a
resolution approving the Ali'i Kai Apartment Complex renovations
as a government-assisted project pursuant to Hawaii Revised
Statutes Chapter 201E authorizing the County of Hawaii to exempt
general excise ta:x and real property taxes.
The HCHA has revilewed and approved the resolution at its meeting
of October 21, 1997. Accordingly, I am requesting that the
resolution be included on the Council agenda for action at its
November 13, 1997, meeting. ~
