We are submitting for the Council's review and consideration for acceptance a copy of the
above quitclaim deed, along with a resolution accepting the deed.
For your information, the deed has been reviewed and accepted by the Department of
Public Works and the Planning Department.
Upon acceptance of the above dedication deed, please send notification of such acceptance
to (1) Mr. James W. Greenwell, Lanihau Partners L.P., 3465 Waialae Avenue, Suite 260,
Honolulu, Hawaii 96816; (2) Harry Takahashi, Director of Finance, County of Hawaii; and
(3) Gerald Takase, Deputy Corporation Counsel, who will record the said deed with the Bureau of
Conveyances.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That LANIHAU PARTNERS L.P., whose principal place of business
and mailing address is 3465 Waialae Avenue, Suite 260, Honolulu,
Hawaii 96816, hereinafter called the "Grantor," for and in
consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS AND NO/100 DOLLARS
($10.00) and other valuable consideration to it paid by the COUNTY
OF HAWAII, a municipal corporation of the State of Hawaii, whose
principal place of business and post office address is County
Building, 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, hereinafter called
the "Grantee," the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does
hereby remise, release, and forever quitclaim unto the said

Grantee, its succ~assors and assigns, forever, all of its right,
title and interes{t in and to the real property hereinbelow
described and delineated on map attached hereto as Exhibit A:
All of ithat certain piece or parcel of land situate at
Lanihau 1st, North Kona, island and County of Hawaii, State
of Hawaii, more particularly described in Eahibit "A" and
delineated on Exhibit "B," both of which are attached hereto
and made a part hereof by reference.
TO HAVE AND 'CO HOLD the same, together with all rights,
improvements, easements, privileges, and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining, or held and enjoyed
therewith, unto the Grantee, its successors and assigns, in fee
simple, forever.
