A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Kona Outdoor Circle (KOC) is a community based volunteer organization; and
WHEREAS, KOC's mission is to keep Kona clean, green and beautiful by protecting preserving
and enhancing the environment for future generations; and
WHEREAS, the view of the vehicle disposal site and the closed dump aze unsightly; and
WHEREAS, the KOC feels that the beautification project will enhance the view from the Queen
Ka`ahtunanu Highway to Kailua Village for Kamaaina's and vistors; and
WHEREAS, the KOC would like to plant trees azound the Vehicle Disposal site and the "closed"
dump at Kealakehe, next to the police station; and
WHEREAS, the grant to KOC will be administered by the Department of Environmental
Management.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below:

Project)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Director of Environmental Management and the Director of Finance, and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
