RESOLUTION NO. 475
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Hilo Drag Strip has a new pit area and needs gravel to cover the dirt
surface; and
WHEREAS, adding the new gravel will enhance the safety of the pit area; and
WHEREAS, the new pit area will be used by drivers and their pit crew to change tires,
do mechanical adjustments and repairs, and refueling; and
WHEREAS, a $1,000.00 appropriation from Council District 4 Contingency Relief
account will be administered by the Department of Parks & Recreation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Finance and to the Director of Parks and Recreation and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
