AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE 12, HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO THE OFFICIAL BULLETIN BOARD. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Purpose. The County council finds that due to the renovations of the Hawaii County building located at 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo, Hawaii, the official bulletin boazd that is located at this address needs to be moved. The Hawaii County Council and the executive branch of the Hawaii County building will be domiciled in three different locations in Hilo. The council proposes that the official bulletin boazd be moved to 101 Pauahi Street, Hilo, Hawaii. SECTION 2. Chapter 14, article 12, Hawaii County Code 1983, (2005 Edition, as amended) is amended by aznending article 12 to read as follows: "Article 12. Official Bulletin Board. Section 14-71. Official bulletin board established; purpose. There shall be an official bulletin boazd [a€] located at the Hawaii County building at 101 Pauahi Street, Hilo, Hawaii for the posting of council and committee agendas and public notices of meetings of the County of Hawaii. This bulletin board is established in compliance with the provisions of article XIII, Hawaii County Charter. Section 14-72. Official bulletin board location. The official bulletin boazd of the Hawaii County building at 101 Pauahi Street, Hilo, Hawaii shall be located °°°°-~a °e "•~'a~~° ]immediately adjacent to its main entrance and shall be conspicuously displayed and identified by the words "public notices" appearing thereon. Section 14-73. Official bulletin board custodian. SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. SECTION 4. Materials to be repealed are bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed materials, and the underscoring need not be included. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
