RESOLUTION NO. 483
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, Shipman Park located in Kea`au, Hawaii is in need of two (2)
eight-foot-player-style benches and two (2) sets of basketball backboazds, rims, and stands
to replace the ones that are old and dilapidated, as well as a fence to surround the outdoor
basketball azea; and
WHEREAS, Shipman Park also needs three (3) additional picnic tables to
accommodate the increase in park usage; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated for the
purchase of new park equipment at the request of the Department of Parks and Recreation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set
forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with
the terms of this resolution.
