Subject: Support for Bill No. 309 (Amendment E-4)
Aloha Chair Higa, Vice Chair Isbell and members of the Hawaii County
Council:
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Henry Cho. I am a
life-long resident of Kona, former County of Hawaii Deputy Managing
Director and former Department of Hawaiian Homes Commissioner,
representing Kona.A retired a few years ago, though remain very
active in Kona and island-wide issues.
I support this marina project and ask this County Council to do the
same. Every so often, a developer comes through this island who
wants to do right by our Big Island community. Jacoby Development is
one of those. The public benefits, public access and the knowledge of
how to make this public-private partnership work really drive my
support.
Think of the opportunity you have to support a leading edge green
developer who knows how to deliver a product that is energy efficient,
environmentally sound and innovative, and culturally sensitive to this
island.
Please join me and support Bill No. 309, Amendment E-4.
