Subject: In Support of Bill #300 - To Ban Drinking At All Parks
Aloha County Council Members -
I am writing in support of Bill 4300 to ban drinking at all parks. To me this is a no Brainer - With
this single bill the County Council can take a giant step towards making our parks safer for all residents
and visitors to enjoy. Too many times I've witnessed alcohol related incidents that mar the enjoyment
of our parks. From the belligerent attitude of park goers who have had one too many bottles of beer
erupting into both minor screaming matches and all out brawls (requiring the Police to intervene) to the
fender benders (and many more near misses) of drivers under the influence leaving the park causing who
knows how many traffic mishaps out on the highway.
Please take this step towards making our parks safer by voting to support Bill#300!!
