Re: Request for Special Council Meeting
Earthquake Emergency Briefing
Dear Chairperson Higa:
I would like to request that the County Council convene a special meeting as soon as possible
for a civil defense briefing on the October 15, 2006 earthquake emergency and response. In
addition to a civil defense presentation, county and other agencies will attend to discuss their
respective roles and answer questions from the Council.
