Aloha,
This year I will be attempting Ironman 18 or 19...I have lost count. I am dedicating my
race to the Junior Lifeguard program and with the help of the Janus Corporation,
januscharitychallenge.com, will be raising money for the program.
The Junior Lifeguard program helps teach kids 12-17 about ocean safety and what it is
like to be a professional lifeguard. They compete in the Big Island Championship to
qualify for the State Championship on Oahu.
My goal is to raise $2000. I would like to raise enough money to help kids attend the
Junior Lifeguard National Championship held every year in the mainland.
As you know, l love competing, and due to the mistakes I made as a teenager I never
reached my potential as an athlete. I would like to help the youth of today so that they do
not stake the same mistakes I made with drugs and alcohol.
