Subject: Reso. 474-06 Lease in Kuhio Mall
Aloha Chair Higa and Council Members!
Even though I am off-island, I have just heard that it's time to re- negiotiate the lease
for the Elections' Div. office at Kuhio Mall. I urge you to vote NO to this reso, as it
is completely an unfair advantage over Kona. In Kona, we do have a walk-in voting office;
for the recent primary it was in the Mayor's office, which has very limited parking, to
say the least. And it is in a very inconvenient location.
To be fair, IF you do leave the Elections' Division office at Kuhio Mall, you must do the
same easy access; easy and free parking for the Kona side.
Please just vote NO.
