To: Hawaii County Council Members
Anyone who has ever driven into Waimea on the upper road from Kona is aware of the breathtaking
view of the green hills behind our town. The Pu'us are not only make Waimea unique from all other
towns in the state, they are important both historically and culturally.
The reasons for keeping the Pu'us undeveloped are so logical and evident, I will not waste the council
member's time enumerating them. Instead I will add my name to those urging your attention to this
matter.
