Queen Ka' ahumanu highway will remain traffic jammed after it has been 4- Laned.
2.The Jacoby project will raise housing costs in West Hawaii.

3.The Jacoby Hawaiian Home Lands lease will pay for only two homes per year

4. "Conditions in West Hawaii may be developing for extreme environmental degradation, possibly
resulting in algal blooms like those in West Maui."

5.The Jacoby project will result in great irreparable harm to a pristine coral reef.

6.The Jacoby project will not upgrade current Honokohau Harbor facilities.

7.Kona Ola Kai has no approvals or entitlements.

Additionally I am apposed to Bills 309 E-4 and 309 F2 as they provide a venue to further
this grossly negligent "Development"

West Hawaii is awash in residential, commercial, and resort development to the point were quality
of life for residents, specifically local long - time residents, is very seriously undermined.
A large development as this size, given its proximity to Kailua Town, is simply an insane
undertaking.
Preservation not Industrialization, is the needed cure for these Islands. And specifically West
Hawaii.
Sincerely Thomas Hilliard
RR2 Box 6258, Pahoa HI-96778

Do You Yahoo!?
Tired of spam? Yahoo!
