I'm a resident of Kailua Kona and I just received the information about the Public Hearing scheduled for tomorrow,
October 24 in Hilo. There is no way I can take off from work to attend this hearing and give my support to protect
Kealakekua Bay. I don't understand how a hearing that was supposed to give Kona residents a chance to speak
out has been rescheduled to be held in Hilo. So, I am sending you this email strongly asking the Council to delete
the F-2 Amendment from Bill 309. A lot of the beauty of Kona is slowly disappearing due to the rapid growth of
residential subdivisions and businesses. Please don't let that happen to Kealakekua Bay! Thank you very much
for your time!
