Subject: Bill 309 - Amendment F-2
Dear Council,
I am writing to urge you to protect Kealakekua Bay and the agricultural Pali uplands in
South Kona by voting to DELETE the Proposed F-2 Amendment to the General Plan
Land Use Pattern [LUPAG Map]. Kona residents have already voiced our opinion on
this matter during the many meetings discussing the general plan. Kona is being
developed at an alarming rate, and we are loosing much of what makes Kona special.
Kealakekua Bay and the lands surrounding it need to be protected. Please vote to
protect South Kona.
