+tY Os N'•;I <br /> ~.`V, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> •••Tf~O~~M~t`' <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 498 06 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br /> <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the Trap and Skeet Range located in Hilo, Hawaii is a County facility <br /> <br /> that is used by many organizations such as the Big Island Trap Club, Kilauea Sporting Clays, <br /> <br /> Big Island Gun Dogs, Big Island Bird Hunters, Boy Scouts, high school programs, and other <br /> community organizations; and <br /> WHEREAS, this facility is also used to host annual competitions that attracts <br /> <br /> participants from the neighbor islands, mainland, and Canada; and <br /> WHEREAS, three out of four trap machines are very old and rundown; and <br /> WHEREAS, the generator that powered the facility was stolen and replaced with a <br /> <br /> temporazy one, which was purchased by a Big Island Trap Club member; and <br /> WHEREAS, to keep this facility in operation, discretionary funds from Council <br /> District I will be appropriated to help cover the costs to replace three (3) Wobble PAT Trap <br /> machines and one (1) generator for the Department of Parks and Recreation's Trap and Skeet <br /> Range. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transfened/appropriated as set <br /> forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> <br /> APPROPRIATION: $7,500.00 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $7,500.00 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5507.06 Depaztment of Pazks and Recreation $7,500.00 <br /> Recreation Division Equipment <br /> (Skeet Range Equipment) <br /> <br />
