Members of Hawaii County Council
Members of the Leleiwi Community Association unanimously passed a
motion in support of the passage of Bill 300 concerning drinking in public. We
live at HW9 beaches: Kealoha, Carlsmith (4 Mile), Leleiwi and Richardson
Beach Parks, so we witness on a daily basis excessive public drinking and the
resulting unlawful behaviors that result from too much drinking.
We would appreciate passage of Bill 300 to give our law enforcement
personnel additional power to confront this problem.

taking suggestions for sites or projects to improve upon public access, open space, and
natural resources preservation, pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 42, of the Hawaii County
Code. Please use the form below to tell the Commission about a place or access you
