SUBJECT: Resolution Authorizing the Director of Finance to
Negotiate a License with the Roman Catholic Church in
the State of Hawaii, dba Office for Social Ministry,
for the Purpose of Providing Services to Homeless
Persons with Terms to Include a Duration of Five Years
at a Set Rental of $10.00 per Year
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted
a Resolution Authorizing the Director of Finance to Negotiate a
License with the Roman Catholic Church in the State of Hawaii,
dba office for Social Ministry, for the Purpose of Providing
Services to Homeless Persons with Terms to Include a Duration of
Five Years at a Set Rental of $10.00 per Year.
The Hawaii County Housing Agency reviewed and approved the
resolution at its meeting on October 31, 2006, and voted as
follows:
AYES: J. Arakaki, S. Higa, F. Holschuh, V. Isbell,
A. Pilago, D. Ikeda - 6
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: P. Hoffmann, B. Jacobson,
G. Safarik - 3
Accordingly, I am requesting that this resolution be included on
the Council agenda for action at its November 15, 2006, meeting.
