RE: Paulette Pavao
Mayoral nominee to the County of Hawaii Environmental
Management Commission
On October 30, 2006, the Hawaii County Council Committee on Environmental
Management confirmed Ms. Paulette Pavao's nomination to the Environmental
Management Commission. Ms. Pavao's nomination now proceeds to the full Council for
a second reading.
We were informed this morning that Ms. Pavao is scheduled to be in Kona on for
a previous commitment on November 15, 2006, the date of the next regularly scheduled
Council meeting.
If the Council Chair pleases, would it be possible to schedule the second reading
of Ms. Pavao's confirmation for Wednesday, November 29, 2006? Ms. Pavao has
indicated she will be able to attend this next Council meeting on November 29 in Hilo.
Thank you for your kind consideration in this matter. Please have your staff
notify our office whether you assent, so we may make the necessary arrangements.
