Subject: Testimony to remove the "F-2" clause from the Bill #309
Aloha Members of the Hawaii County Council:
As you may know, the County Planning Commission has already voted
unanimously to remove the "F-2" clause from the bill #309.
The County planning director apparently supports the "F-2" clause for reasons
known only to himself. Not only does this raises many concerns, it also raises the
question of what interests the planning director represents.
I understand that many others will be testifying on this matter. Some will have
sent in written testimony while others will be presenting their testimony in
person. In testimony that has been shared with me, I have found many valid
reasons to remove the "F-2" clause from the bill #309.
Rather than wasting your precious time with all the details others will be providing
to you I will simply ask you to do what is in the best interest of the residents of
this island, remove the "F-2" clause from bill #309.
