RESOLUTION NO. 532 U6
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association is an organization comprised of
individuals and small businesses in the downtown azea of Hilo; and
WHEREAS, the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association strives to promote a healthier,
cleaner, safer and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors alike; and
WHEREAS, the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association seeks to continue its Holiday
Lights Program during the 2006 holiday season to further enhance visitor and resident enjoyment in
the downtown area; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is providing manpower and support for
the program; and
WHEREAS, discretionary fixnds from Council District 3 will be used to help the Department
of Parks and Recreation defray costs associated with the progam.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth
below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forwazd a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Pazks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessazy transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
