RESOLUTION NO. 533 c~6
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association is an organization comprised of
individuals and small businesses in the downtown area of Hilo; and
WHEREAS, the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association strives to promote a healthier,
cleaner, safer and welcoming enviromnent for all residents and for visitors alike; and
WHEREAS, the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association seeks to continue its Holiday
Lights program during the 2006 season, to further enhance visitor and resident enjoyment in the
downtown azea for the holidays; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Pazks and Recreation is providing manpower and support for
the program; and
WHEREAS, funds from District 2 will be used to help the Department of Pazks and
Recreation defray costs associated with the program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth
below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $6,250.00
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5505.02 Department of Parks & Recreation $6,250.00
Pazks Maintenance Misc Contract Services
(2006 Holiday Lights Program -
Hilo Downtown Improvement Association)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
