RESOLUTION NO. 536 U6
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, Resolution 192-05, Draft 2, which accepted the "Envision Downtown Hilo
2025 Plan" and adopted on November 22, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the "Envision Downtown Hilo 2025 Plan" is a guide by the County in its
consideration of future development in Downtown Hilo; and
WHEREAS, the "Envision Downtown Hilo 2025 Plan" established a working group called
EDH 2025 Visionkeepers (VK); and
WHEREAS, the mission of the EDH 2025 Visionkeepers is to energize, guide, inspire and
strengthen partnership within the community to implement the plan; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Planning
Department to be used towards the EDH 2025 Visionkeepers (VK) for the implementation of the
community-based "Envision Downtown Hilo 2025 Plan."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth
below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $10,000.00
CREDITED TO:
010.141.5141.02 Department of Planning $10,000.00

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Finance and the Director of Planning and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
