RE: Resolution extending the Hawaii County Council's gratitude to Council Member
Gary Safarik for his years of dedicated service to the County of Hawaii.
Attached for your review and approval is a resolution extending the Council's gratitude to Council
Member Gary Safarik for his years of dedicated service to the County of Hawaii. Council Member
Safarik has served on the Council since 2000 representing District 5, and was the Vice Chair of the
Committee on Finance, Chair of the Committee on Parks and Environmental Management, Chair of
the Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, Chair of the County Council,
Chair of the Committee on Public Safety and Parks and Recreation, and Chair of the Committee on
Environmental Management.
