Subject: kealakekua building?
Dear Hawaii County Council,
Last Monday (11-6-06) evening I turned south onto Hwy 11, from Kamehmeha III Keauhou at
6:03 PM into almost stand-still traffic. . .
it took me almost 2 hours (7:55) to travel 20 miles home. To my knowledge there was
nothing unusual going on that day, no accidents, construction issues, fires, parades
. It is not unusual that my trip home from work takes an hour through the Kainaliu Crawl.
Do you honestly care about the quality of life for south Kona, by allowing more building
w/o the infrastructure of roads in tact? C'mon guys and gals . . . who do you really
represent? I simply request that you do what is truly right and good for West Hawaii
residents and tourists alike. Does paradise include sit-still traffic? It hasn't the past
30+ years of my residency.
Please do not pass Bill 309. Again, I fervently request you to DELETE F-2! May we have
Bill 309 heard in Kona by the newly elected County Council?
Let Your Heartspeak . . .
Peace
Kitty Lyons
