Subject: Testimony opposed to Bill 309
Chairman Higa and Councilmembers:
Our quality of life in the Kona area is going down rapidly due to a lack of good
infrastructure to support the population growth.
Allowing a rezoning which would allow Jacoby to put in a hotel, time shares, and an
environmentally insensitive marina would be the heighth of folly. Yes, the lease money
might go to a good cause, but at what cost? Please vote against this resolution
especially if you don't live in a location which will be negatively impacted by its
adoption!
