Aloha -
My wife and I are 15-year residents of Kailua-Kona.
We are sending this email as testimony for the Council Meeting on Wed, Nov 15, 2006.
1) We are opposed to the rezoning for Kona Coffee Estates.
There is a serious lack of infrastructure to allow this project.
2) We are opposed to the F-2 and E-4 rezonings for Ordinance #05-25.
Kealakekua lands should remain Important Agricultural Lands.
Honokohau lands designations should remain Open.
Again, no plan, no infrastructure, not appropriate at this time.
The voters spoke at the last election.
Infrastructure first, plan first, community input first.
Not build and then plan.
