funding in the Chief Engineer's OCE Miscellaneous Contractual Services Account (010-173-
5173.02-115) to the Department of Parks and Recreation's Adm OCE, Miscellaneous
Contractual Services Account since the shoulder widening project requested could not be
completed this fiscal year.

RE: Attached Resolution in regazds to Appropriating/Transferring Funds
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written approval is submitted requesting that Resolution No. FHB, relating to the
transfer of funds from the Clerk-Council's Miscellaneous Contractual Services Account
(discretionazy funds) and the Chief Engineer's OCE account (discretionary funds) to the Parks
and Recreation Administration's OCE -Miscellaneous Contractual Services Account, Chief
Engineer's OCE account, and R & D New Industry & Industry Development -Miscellaneous
Contractual Services, be numbered and waived from the Committee of Finance in order that
appropriate action can be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be granted.
