I understand that on this coming Wednesday, August 23, the Council will have an
opportunity to vote to stop funding the Green Harvest and, instead, direct those funds to
law enforcement activities whose sole purpose is the eradication of this Island's "ice"
epidemic.
To understand the murder and mayhem brought on our community by the widespread use
of "ice", one needs to look no further than the recent car crash killing of two individuals
on the highway near Kona. We are all aware of many other instances of ice-related
criminal activities and personal injury.
Please use your vote and influence to redirect the Green Harvest money to that area
where it is urgently needed
