Dear counsilman Higa:
I would urge you to vote no on Resolution 430. I tedtified at many
hearings during the lengthy period during which the general plan was being developed. I
think that the process of making revisions to the plan should also be a rigorous process
with plenty of opportunity for public input. This plan greatly effects the quality of
life of all big island residents and should not be easily sold down the river to
development interest.
