Subject: Stanford Carr rezoning
My husband and I cannot believe that you as council members would even consider rezoning
this development when there are many people here on the West side that are against it.
Why spend all that money on our General Plan? Why waste our time at meetings wanting our
input about our quality of life when you don't pay attention to what we tell you? We are
sure that this could be a good thing for the area in the future, but not now!
Stanford Carr has the land, we want the roads to support it! Why can't you understand
that we cannot sustain more growth without decent roads? And where do you get off ruining
a quiet community to bow down to a developer? What about the people who live in that
community? What about their investment in their homes and quality of life for them?
There are ulternatives, postpone this rezoning. You as council members have an obligation
to hear the voice of the people, don't turn a deaf ear. Do not put your stamp of approval
on this re-zoning.
