Dear Councilman Higa,
My name is Shareen, I'm in Ms.Dorn's Participation of Democracy and I'm very
interests in banning things and not banning things. I'm 16 years old and go to Hilo High
School and what I'm interested in is student association and cheerleading. I was
interested in young teenagers and the fun they have is getting banned. But then I have
another opinion not at banning it but leaving it the way it is. I just think this decision is
very complicated and don't know to ban it or not ban it at all.
I'm against not banning it because I think if they ban it there's going to be or get
in trouble more and teenagers are going to get into trouble. I think that teenagers should
have fun, I mean I'm not saying like let them have a lot of freedom just something like
some place so we can hang out with your friends. Drunk driving is one of the most
important things not to do on top of the line be in a lot of car accidents and getting
tickets.
