Regarding our telephone conversation this e^.^e Dec. 16 when you informed
ourselves, Walter &There<,a Andreae, of the :o~~ ail rezoning hearing scheduled for
Dec. 17, we want to express our dismay at not :;e~uig notified. We are adjoining
property owners of tax reap key 7-a-06:38 a'~onrl :~ith neighbor, John Mahoney, and
have been actively contesting as inter^encrs ?ir~:» ^,vith John Mahoney, the special
permit application for the same property.
The last planning Commis5~on hearing dated Gi;nher 24 regarding the special permit
application was deferred in order for the appl c:-r: ;o obtain an accurate and detailed
traffic study. We have been a~aaaiting notificatlor ~ tho next hearing date- The
interveners remain extremely concerned over t'n= 'r,~pact on traffic safety on that
particular stretch of Palani Rd. The Report of Tr ';rgs of the first Planning Commision
hearing dated Oct- 4, was agaui~t the appl~a~.t~or ,a to traffic salty concerns.
During that hearing we also e;<pressed conc. rr~ ~,"rr the possibility of a rezoning
application for the same reasons aria were r9p<:a~^~dly told by Mr. Frederick Giannini
that we could not address that concern until _r,~ng hearing was set- We certainly
expected to be notified by the ;.C:urdy of an~,~ cl~~._~~_ rf zoning application coneerrnng
