I can't believe the Council scheduled a public hearing on that day. It is disrespectful of your constituents. It is family time..... I have family coming from the mainland and have already made plans for the day after Thanksgiving. I am unable to attend the public hearing. Many, many Big Island residents are strongly opposed to F-2 and protest the scheduling of this hearing over this holiday weekend. I request that Bill 309 have a final reading before the Newly Elected County Council. If the Council votes on Bill 309 after the final reading, I request that they DELETE F-2. Our aina will be irreparably damaged if we don't care for and respect it. We need a comprehensive plan that protects agricultural land for future generations. Comm.
