Subject: Bill 365 - Committee on Public Safety & Parks & Recreation
We urge complete support of this ordinance amending Chapter 14, Article 4, to prohibit
smoking, use of tobacco products and the disposal of cigarettes at Kahalu'u Beach Park.
It does need to include a penalty of $100. for any violation, to make it work.
This particular Beach Park is so heavily used that all extra contamination, such as
cigarettes, need to be banned in order to better protect the park and the sea.
