Re: Proposed Development of Kona Coffee Estates - Bill #251
Dear Council Members:
We are against this proposed development for several reasons:
1. The traffic congestion on Queen K Highway and Henry is already
overwhelming.
2. We're concerned about the loss of property values and security. There
are discussions of putting a temporary road along the whole south side of
Malulani Gardens leading to the top for the construction vehicles which
opens all of Malulani Gardens to potential burglaries not to mention dust
and dirt.
It's time to say "no" to development until the infrastructure keeps up. If this
development must go through, then the developer of the Kona Coffee Estates
should provide access on upper Pilani, away from the traffic congestion around
Queen K and Henry.
Otherwise, we respectfully request that the development of Kona Coffee Estates
not take place.
