Re: Proposed development of Kona Coffee Estates Bill 261 e;OU V7
Dear Council Members,
I am vehemently opposed to the proposed development for several reasons:
First, A development as large as the Kona Coffee Estates should, at the very least, have
its own separate road for ingress and egress. And, the road definitely should not
lead from the Queen's highway which Is alread a congested roadway. Plain common
sense dictates that the road should lead from upper Palani Rd.
Secondly, A road that would cut Malulani Gardens in half would lead to a decrease in
our property values. I would have to drive thru three gates to go anywhere at all.
And lastly, since the road would be 16 feet from my home, my safety and pleasant
neighborhood environment would be greatly jeopardized.
Please do not pass Bill 251. You have the responsibility to help Kailua-Kona develop
in a progressive direction, one not leading to greater congesten.
