As you know, this issue is quite complex and <br /> affects people who can not economically afford shelter; be they in that position <br /> because of lack of work skills or because they are working but still unable to find <br /> shelter. The Friendly Place does not supply shelter, but does offer a center so <br /> that people who need help finding resources and referrals to social programs <br /> <br /> locker to keep their possessions safe and a place for showers and other basic of <br /> living can be found. In order to continue, the Friendly Place needs a licensing <br /> agreement with the County. The Office of Social ministries will manage the <br /> Friendly Place professionally. The Office of Social Ministries is a viable, proven <br /> organization capable of such an enterprise. <br /> Please approve this licensing agreement so that the Friendly Place may <br /> continue to outreach to the homeless in our community. <br /> <br /> Gretchen S.
